SH (1914), 88, as a nine-line stanza, with the last four words of line 1 as the first of line 2 and line 6 separated into two; an alternative for line 4 ("this sufficient") was adopted. Poems (1955), 780-81, as two stanzas of six and four lines, with both sets of alternatives for line 4 as part of the text (noted otherwise); CP (1960), 500, as a nine-line stanza, with the first set of alternatives for line 4 removed and the second adopted.
